Non-conformance Reports NCR (01/23/2025)
A Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) is a document that records a deviation from a standard, specification, or procedure. The purpose of an NCR is to identify and address the issue and to prevent it from happening again.
As part of the Locstatt Lessons Learned program, your company can manage NCRs to prevent recurring problems and document investigations with proper root cause analysis and evidence to confirm that the issues have been resolved.

Audits Overview by Department/shifts (01/08/2025)
We are starting the new year with new reports, one of which is the Audits Overview by Department and Shifts. This report can be found in the Audits section of the Company Performance Overview (CPO) component.
As part of our audits program, we are introducing a new option that allows supervisors and managers to view on a monthly basis, all audits created by day, grouped by department and shift. This way, you can easily track the number of audits and inspections conducted under each shift (if applicable).

Audits Program: Equipment Inspections (10/24/2024)
The Locstatt system offers the audit module where companies can build any template to create audits or inspections. But did you know that you can create a complete list of equipment and link them to any template under the “equipment inspections” type?
Let’s look at how this works, and what the benefits are:
Any company can create a list of equipment, for example – elevators, fire extinguishers, chargers, harness, rental equipment, etc. Then for each list you can also attach the relevant equipment serial numbers (or equivalent information). This will help you define a comprehensive inventory of all your equipment on all facilities, or projects.

Locstatt Matrix HSE Reports (10/03/2024)
The Locstatt system offers a variety of reports that show helpful leading indicators across all modules. Among these reports are matrices that present a comprehensive view of activities over specific time periods, across various facilities, departments, or even related to specific employees.
In this newsletter, we want to share some reports you may not be aware of, so you can incorporate them into your weekly or monthly HSE reviews.
- The Participation Matrix lets you review employee participation across your company. Start by searching for and adding employees, then select the facilities and modules they work with to generate the relevant activities.
Incidents – Rules for Life Violations (09/19/2024)
As part of our Incidents module, we are pleased to announce a new feature that will help our clients add more documentation to each incident, providing details about Rules for Life Violations.
Let’s take a look at the new changes within the module and its components:
Now, users with Admin rights will be able to see the Rules for Life Violations list, which can be customized by each company to fit their specific needs. By default, each company will see a list with 12 options, but Managers can edit this list as needed.
Incidents by Years of Service and Experience Charts (09/05/2024)
Our Incidents module features a comprehensive form that allows companies to record incidents each month with detailed information like incident types, work types, property damage, injury/illness information, corrective actions, email notifications, costs, root cause analysis, weather conditions, supervisors, facilities, departments, and years of service and experience, etc.
One of the standout features of the Locstatt system is the extensive range of reports available in our Incidents module. These reports provide supervisors and managers with the key leading indicators they need to improve the safety culture of their organization.
We have been working in new charts in the Incidents section in the CPO where you can analyze the reported incidents from a different perspective.
Required Training by Facilities Improvements (08/29/2024)
As part of our Training and Classroom program, the Locstatt System allows you to add required training by job position and facility. Each operational facility can be configured with one or more gates, linking them to specific required training. Supervisors can review these training requirements using the Facility Logbook or Training Matrices.
We have been working on a new redesign of the component that allows supervisors to assign required training to any facility or gate. Let’s take a look at the changes:
Closing Incidents and Email Notifications (08/14/2024)
The Incidents Remedial Action Plan component is the control center where supervisors and managers review incident information, conduct the proper follow ups, and close the cases.
Every time an incident and corrective actions are created, the system provides the option to send email notifications to any employees who need to be informed about the case.
To assist with the final steps when closing a corrective action or incident, we have added new features to the Incidents RAP.
New User List Component (08/01/2024)
We are pleased to announce the release of a new component in the Locstatt system, redesigned exclusively for our top managers.
The Users Access List, located in the Settings options, will now give the admin managers the full control over user management within their organization.
Tips for Using the CPO Report (07/25/2024)
The CPO is the primary report where managers can find the leading indicators compiled from the HSE activity reported across all facilities in your company. This report includes sections on Audits, Vehicle Inspections, BBS Observations, Incidents, Hazard Hunts, Training, Job Safety Analysis, and more.
Here are 5 tips on how to find valuable information in the CPO:

Workstation app 1.5.3 Version (07/10/2024)
At Locstatt, we are constantly working on new features and improvements, which are added every month. This time, we have updated our web and mobile applications with changes that will enhance the user experience during the login process.
Let’s take a look of the new features:
We have redesigned the login screen of the web and mobile apps to provide a clearer welcome process to all new users.
Most importantly, we have added a new security layer to ensure the efficiency of the login process. Additionally, new users will now receive a step-by-step guide to better understand how the Locstatt web system operates.
Classroom Quick Classes Scenario (06/27/2024)
Locstatt offers various scenarios for companies to manage their internal training programs effectively. Organizations can easily create their own course library, manage all necessary training, and categorize them into online training, instructor-led sessions, HSE meeting topics, or Quick Classes.
This last tool is particularly valuable for scenarios where instructors or supervisors need quick access to a comprehensive list of courses and resources for on-site employee training, available at any time of day.

How can you Review Corrective Actions? (06/20/2024)
Every day, employees under your supervision are reporting new HSE activity: Audits and Inspections, Incidents, BBS Observations, Hazard Hunts, Lessons Learned & NCR, Meeting Participation, Training records and more.
As you know Locstatt offers the Employee Participation Matrix where you can create lists of employees to review their weekly or monthly HSE activity. This component is available to all employees in your company with supervisor or manager user level access.
Employees are constantly assigned to corrective actions under the Audits, Incidents, and Non-Conformance Reports programs. So, how can you know which of them have corrective actions pending to be closed? Or, if they are closing the corrective actions on time?
Audit Process: New Features (06/13/2024)
The Audits module is one of the most powerful tools in the Locstatt system. It allows to conduct audits or inspections linked to vehicles, equipment, or employee evaluations.
We have been working to add some improvements and new features that will help our clients have better communication in the audits process and, at the same time, add proper documentation to any Corrective Action.

Closing BBS Observations (06/06/2024)
The BBS Remedial Action Plan component is the control center where supervisors and managers review, conduct the proper follow ups, edit, and close the cases.
We know some BBS Observations require extra time and efforts when multiple actions are assigned to more than one employee. These cases are initially created in the field with the status set to “OPEN.” Supervisors are then responsible for closing out the BBS Observations once the required action has been remediated or completed.
So, to improve the communication when a BBS Observation is closed, we have added some new features in the BBS RAP:
Who is on site? The POB Report (05/30/2024)
The Facility Logbook module allows your Company to take advantage of the following features:
- View the constant flow of personnel in and out of facilities in real-time – every day, every hour, every minute.
- Review weekly or monthly reports listing current man-hours for each employee.
- Add training requirements for any facility, and/or gate, to validate (in real-time) which employees working on each specific site have the required training – either current, almost expired, expired, or not taken.
But one of the best features that this module offers is the POB report.
For supervisors or managers monitoring multiple employees across a variety of facilities with the logbook app, we have developed a simple real-time report accessible on any laptop or TV.
Corrective Actions and Root Causes (05/23/2024)
Did you know that the Incident Module allows you to assign Corrective Actions to an Incident reported from any Facility in your operations?
Did you also know that, apart from the usual additional comments & documents, you can also assign a specific Root Cause(s) to an Incident?
The complete process of reporting an Incident, assigning Corrective Actions, and at the same time linking a Root Cause, immediately puts you ahead of the game when it comes to highlighting your leading indicators.
Locstatt’s unique ability to aggregate your compressed data Company Wide and display it in easy-to-read charts provides the perfect bird’s eye view when it comes to identifying the all-important link between your Incidents, CAs, and specific Root Causes.
Incidents and Non-Conformance Reports (05/09/2024)
The Lessons Learned Module offers the option to create your own library of in-house reports that can be catalogued as Good, Average, Poor or Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) ratings.
Managing this library enables you to instantly analyze live compressed data and proactively make the right decisions from leading indicators.
One of the best features within the NCR component, is the ability to link these reports to one or more Root causes. At the same time, you can search your reported Incidents and link them to specific NCRs to help create overall well documented reports.

How to Manage and Close Corrective Actions (05/01/2024)
The Locstatt System offers multiple ways to Edit and Close Corrective Actions associated with Audits, Incidents and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).

The Locstatt Recognition Program is a powerful tool for reviewing all HSE activity for any employee, or groups of employees (as Teams), under your supervision.
Follow these tips to get the best out of this component
The most effective way to use the Employee Recognition program, is to keep your employee Team ‘small’. We find that working with Teams in smaller groups enhances your focus in specific areas, and simplifies the recognition and motivation required to improve productivity.
Weekly & Monthly Email Summary Reports (03/20/2024)
Locstatt offers different levels & types of reports that are available to Users depending on their User access.
Each User, regardless of type, has access to their own HSE activity using the “My Locstatt ” Report available in the web and mobile applications. Also supervisors can review HSE activity from any group of employees using the same “My Locstatt” component.
Managers have the highest level of access & can review the Company Performance Overview (CPO) to see the company-wide HSE activity from any chosen date range.
Locstatt Training Module Features (03/13/2024)
Automatically updating your 3rd party Training with our Application Programming Interface is an excellent way to track your employees, but did you know that the Locstatt Classroom App can also track & load your employees In-house Training?
Simply send us your current In-House Training content in whatever format you like. Whether that’s a PowerPoint presentation, a YouTube or Vimeo video, or a simple PDF format, we can take your content and load it into the System so it’s available anytime, anywhere.
LOCSTATT SPELL CHECKER TOOL (03/06/2024)
We all know how frustrating ‘auto-correct’ can be when writing up reports, especially when you often don’t see the ‘incorrect’ correction until after a message is sent. So we’ve finally incorporated a new ‘spell checker tool’ that will simply highlight the word in question with red underlining.
This new addition will be invaluable to supervisors & managers as they make their usual rounds reviewing their employees’ HSE activity reports from the field. It means a hurried entry is easily highlighted and can be adjusted at a later time using the web system.
This new feature is currently available via the web system for when you create or edit Audits, BBS Observations, Incidents, Hazard Hunts etc, and it even includes any mistakes highlighted in the Remedial Action Plans once you open an item in Edit mode.
Facility Logbook and Man Hours (02/28/2024)
Whether those man hours are performed by your own personnel, or contractor personnel, you need to know what they are, and where they were performed.
When using the Facility Logbook component, you can not only validate required training, by facility or department, but you can also record & save the entry & exit time of every employee (or Contractor) passing through the Gate. Managers are then able to generate a weekly or monthly report of Man Hours for their own employees, and also to cross reference the monthly invoice for Contractor hours.

Advantages to work with the JSA Verifications (02/21/2024)
The Locstatt Job safety Analysis (JSA) library is an essential part of your Company’s control measures. Not only can you save all your own Company procedures, including hazards, HSE elements, photos, etc. but each JSA can also be used as training material or a simple learning opportunity.
This can be performed at any Company site or facility listed in the System.

How to use the HSE Meetings to save training records (02/14/2024)
Every Meeting is a Training opportunity – that’s a fact!
But are you taking advantage of these opportunities and recording them via the Workstation App with your customized list of HSE Meeting Types?
Don’t waste another Meeting – simply choose your Meeting Type from your Customized list, add your participants, comments, photos, and/or scanned documents. Then, once you’ve recorded the Meeting Topic as a Training record for all attendees’, their Training History will be automatically updated.

Employee Recognition Program and Corrective Actions (12/13/2023)
The Locstatt Employee Recognition Program is the quickest, easiest, & most efficient way to monitor, manage, & support all employees under your supervision.
Simply create your teams or groups of employees, review their HSE activity in the field across any timeline; send immediate feedback and/or Kudos, and keep up to date with who is doing what, and when they do it.
Remember, as a supervisor or manager you can allocate points to any chosen employee. This feedback can be used to create your own scoring system, which in turn can be used to motivate and/or reward employees throughout the month when they accomplish certain goals.

How to manage Users & Employees (11/15/2023)

However, it is important to understand the correct procedure, and the possible consequences when you request, create, delete, or deactivate employees or Users (including rehires) throughout your various projects and facilities.

Using the web system, you can simply open the Training Certificates component, search training records by employee or course and upload the certificate as a PDF or images (JPG and PNG).
NEW SEARCH FIELD: CASE ID (10/25/2023)
The Master and Remedial Action Plan components offer plenty of options to search and filter information across all the Locstatt Modules.
It is very easy to go back in time and see all the Audits, BBS Observations or Incidents cases that happened in any facility, location, department or client.
Now, we have added a new Field inside these components that will allow supervisors or managers, with the correct user access, to find any specific case using the new field called “CASE ID”.
Let’s see how it works and where you can find it:
Every time an Audit, BBS Observation or Incident is created, using the web or mobile app, it generates a new Case ID inside the item, plus it will also appear inside the email notifications.
Using the Case ID to assign corrective actions or close it out etc, will create a more streamlined workflow and make it easier to identify specific cases.

nside the BBS Reports you will find a report called “BBS Timeline”. These charts are powerful tools enabling you to review condensed data in one central location showing every BBS created per day, and how many are still open or closed.
You can click any section of the bars to drill down to the BBS Observations in detail, and review how many days they have remained open.

The Path of the JSA Verifications and Meetings (10/04/2023)
In Part 1, we explained the Path of the JSA process which detailed how to create a Library of Tasks within the Locstatt System, and subsequently feed them with detailed control measures, hazards, hazard effects, photos, and videos.
This JSA library of tasks, can be used as Training content to train employees on site, and even better, there are two other very useful options: JSA Verifications & JSA meetings.
These two options are specifically designed to help prevent injury while performing high-risk jobs; create awareness about possible hazards; and help mitigate those hazards.

Locstatt offers the HSE Meetings component which allows companies or teams to create any Meeting linked to any Meeting Type. You can also register employees with their signatures, upload photos, and/or add comments, etc.
One of the best features within the Meetings component is the ability to create courses linked to any HSE meeting type, and assign different resources and/or documents to that course. This feature assists supervisors when they need to train employees on site at any given moment in the day.
Supervisors can create courses with Schedule documents that will automatically appear in the System at the correct time for access throughout the year. These courses can include videos, audios, and/or diagrams.

MY LOCSTATT OVERVIEW -INCIDENTS SECTION (09/13/2023)
Locstatt already offers a simple yet intuitive Form to record and handle most Incident cases. This Basic Form assists a User, via the Web or Mobile App, when they need to record an Incident. Once the Incident is loaded, the relevant supervisor and/or manager automatically receives an email notification allowing them to start the process of adding more information if needed, and assign corrective actions linked to the root cause, until the case is finally closed out.
How to document the Path of an incident case via the Basic Form is clear & simple, and now we’re excited announce how an employee can review their own Incident documentation via the “My Locstatt” report, allowing them to drill down into all the new reports available.

Audits Completed and BBS RAP Improvements (09/06/2023)
We’ve been working hard to finalize a new way for supervisors & managers to export their monthly list of BBS Observations, and Audits completed.
This customization is essential, especially when downloading and exporting excel files with 1000+ items, and allows you to now customize the excel file with specific columns, etc.
You will find the following new features available via the “Audits Completed” and “BBS Observations RAP” components:
1. You can now export the full list of BBS Observations using the complete list, in any format, with or without colors etc. This means you can export the Raw version of excel without a logo, or cell borders, if required.

1. The Nominations
Many employees under your supervision are creating weekly Audits, Vehicle and Equipment inspections, BBS Observations, Hazard Hunts, Lessons Learned and NCR cases.

INCIDENTS MATRIX ANALYSIS REPORT (07/19/2023)
The most important thing about documenting an Incident is to make sure that enough information is gathered, and subsequently actioned, so that the Incident can be avoided in the future.
The Locstatt Incidents Module offers a detailed & extensive fillable FORM with a multitude of customizable lists, such as Root Causes, Incident types, Type of works, Documents, Injury/Illness, Source of Injuries, Weather Conditions, Body parts, etc.

Locstatt now offers the option to upload training certificates attached to any training record in the system.
Simply access the Training Certificates component in the Web System and upload the certificate as a PDF or image (JPG and PNG).

BBS Observations – Email Notifications(01/19/2022)
Are you currently using the Behavior Based Safety Module on site?
If so, did you know you now have access to a New Notification Feature via the Web?
Once the BBS is created using the web or mobile app, Supervisors or Users with access to the BBS RAP can then review the BBS in the web system. If an observation is recorded that needs to be shared with other employees, the Supervisor can now click the new “Email Notification” option showing within each BBS.
